Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Night Shift) Location: Coalville, Leicestershire Salary: £46,000 rising to £49,000 when passing probation. Key Responsibilities: Perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance on various machinery to ensure smooth production and minimize downtime. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults, identifying root causes instead of relying solely on system resets. Interpret electrical schematics and communicate findings effectively to the team for timely resolutions. Collaborate with production and operations teams to improve machinery performance and address potential issues proactively. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and work towards long-term solutions for recurring issues. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.Requirements: Qualifications: Ideally NVQ Level 3, ONC, or HNC in Electrical Engineering or a similar field. Time-served electricians with strong experience are also welcome to apply. Proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably in FMCG. Strong ability to read and understand electrical schematics. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a logical approach. A proactive, positive attitude with a willingness to work as part of a team. Experience with PLC systems is an advantage but not essential.Shift Details: Night Shift: 9:30 PM - 5:30 AM, 5 days per week. Overtime opportunities available. Bank Holidays: 8 bank holidays, with 5 mid-year holidays expected to be worked based on the shift schedule: If rostered to work: double time plus a day back in lieu.
