This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in the commercial department as the business grows working closely with the Senior Estimator and commercial team.   About your new role: Due to continued growth plans our client is seeking a Groundworks & Civil Engineering Estimator to support the commercial department in producing tenders for residential & commercial groundworks services throughout the Kent & Essex region. Key Responsibilities for the Groundworks Estimator: Preparation of tender quotations for foundations, roads and sewers s278 works, drainage and structures. Take offs and bill of quantity production Producing final tender document for submission to clients Requirements for the Groundworks Estimator: A minimum of 3-4years experience as an Estimator for a Groundworks & Civil Engineering contractor. Proficient computer skills particularly in Microsoft Excel Possess good skills with numbers and strong mathematical ability Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully Good negotiation and management skills Extremely high level of confidentiality and discretion Understand the importance of establishing and maintaining positive client relationships.
