Tekla & 2D Designer

Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Tekla & 2D Designer with a background in nuclear or defence, to be engaged on a staff basis and located in Bridgwater. Key responsibilities will be: Producing steelwork platform designs compliant with the Eurocode3, ETC-C and Edvance internal guidance's Liaising with the building layout and Civil teams to coordinate the design Maintaining Edvance's QA procedures in delivering the SW design Working with the SW engineers in the preparation of the design drawings/models Reporting progression in team meetings Qualifications: Design office experience Knowledge and understanding of relevant Health & Safety regulations Experience in the nuclear sector and plant layout engineering would be advantageous Knowledge of 3D tools, and capability to produce high quality 2D drawings Previous experience in SW design Experience of dealing with design and layout constraints For more information on this role or to register your interest for future job updates, please visit Why We're Different: Westlakes Recruit are a people solutions business that understands the complexities of nuclear and the importance of our clients' mission critical objectives.
