Mechanical Construction Manager

We are currently working with a leading M&E contractor with a turnover of circa £700m and a strong international presence across the healthcare, pharmaceutical and mission critical sectors who are looking for a mechanical construction manager to join their London business unit to work on a £800m hyperscale data centre in Hertfordshire. The company in question are acting as principal contractor with responsibility for leading the full MEP and a large proportion of the CSA package across the multi-stage campus. Reporting to a mechanical project manager you will have responsibility for managing a number of mechanical packages across a particular section of the scheme. Role/Responsibilities: • Management of subcontractor labour • Attend site meetings • Progress reports • Prepare contract documents I.e. method statements, risk assessments, RFI’s, etc. • Health and safety • Review and amend RAMS • Snagging • Work with the Project Manager to manage the commissioning process and handover of the project. The project is due to run for 2027, with a very strong order book across sectors for many years to come.
