Commercial Heating Engineer - Scotland Central Belt Salary: up to £20 per hour (£41,600 per year) travel time paid D2D at overtime rates, standby currently 1 in , 23 days holiday + banks (rising with length of service), pension & excellent benefits. Hours: 40 hours a week - Monday to Friday Standby / Call Out: 1 in 5 D2D TRAVEL An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Heating Engineer (gas bias) to join one of the country's leading facilities management companies working along the Central Belt, but also occasionally wider Scotland. The role will involve traveling around Scotland servicing, maintaining, and repairing a range of commercial heating systems in premises such as Care Homes, High street stores, Gyms, garden centres, hospitality and many more. Key Responsibilities: Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across a number of sites. You will be the first line in all maintenance throughout your allocated sites. Ensuring that all technical and compliance paperwork is completed and up to date. Service and repair a range of mechanical equipment, e.g. boilers, fans, pumps, AHU's, FCU's etc Safe working practices in relation to 3 phase and single-phase electrics and applications Carry out surveys and complete reports as required by management Qualifications / Experience: Essential ACS Gas - COCN, CIGA, CORT, ICPN, CDGA, TPCP1, TPCP1A ACS Domestic gas The ideal candidate: Will have worked in a similar mobile role traveling around the region from home.
