Senior Software Engineer

Client: Global Investment Bank

Location: London or Zurich

Contract: 12 months (with potential for extension), Inside IR35

Role Overview:

You will be part of the FX Derivatives team within an agile operating model, where crews are aligned with larger products and services to meet client needs. The role involves working on the migration of FX Derivatives systems to new data centers, ensuring seamless integration. The position is based in either London or Zurich.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate within agile teams to support the migration and integration of FX Derivatives systems
• Work on the development and enhancement of systems using .Net Framework and .Net Core
• Handle DevOps tasks in both Windows and Linux environments
• Contribute to CI/CD processes using tools like Git, TeamCity, and Jenkins
• Utilize messaging middleware such as Redis, EMS, or MQ
• Work with cloud platforms, preferably OpenShift or Azure

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Extensive experience in .Net Framework and .Net Core development
• Proven ability to quickly understand and work with existing codebases
• Familiarity with DevOps processes and tools on Windows and Linux
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Git, TeamCity, Jenkins preferred)
• Experience with messaging middleware (Redis, EMS, MQ)
• Experience in cloud platforms, especially OpenShift or Azure
