CNC Turner Operator

Miles Recruitment have an exciting new opportunity for a CNC Turning Operator/ Machinist to join a well established and flourishing company based in North Wiltshire. Our client is looking to continue growing and expanding, aiming to find a hardworking individual who has a passion for engineering. As a CNC Turning Operator/ Machinist , you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC turning machines to produce precision components according to specifications. Some of your main responsibilities can include: Operating CNC lathes of various sizes (Over 10 CNC Lathes). Confidently program parts, fully or partially responsible for setting and operating machines. Carrying out basic inspections of parts and maintaining machine health. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines. To excel in this position as CNC Turning Operator/ Machinist, it is required that you have at least 2 years experience working on CNC Lathes. Other attributes and qualities that would be beneficial can include: Previous CAD/ CAM experience (Desired). Apprentice trained (Desired). Proactive person. Strong Communication skills. Team player supports other team members, department strategies and processes as a whole. Additional perks and information on the role: Your work week is: Monday to Friday, finishing at 1pm on Friday.
