This is an opportunity to Join our new Developer Experience team building, migrating to and running our new API Gateway to enable our clients to empower their propositions with simple, intuitive APIs and clear documentation.

What you'll do
In your new role, you’ll work with the Product Owner (PO) for the Developer Experience team to analyse and track all public APIs across our existing technology partner and our new gateway as we migrate them in a matrixed product engineering organisation, across empowered squads.
You’ll also:
Support the API Architect and PO with the documentation and enforcement of API standards across the organisation
Work with backend feature teams supporting with the understanding of best practice and standards for both API design principles and documentation in the design phase
Utilise specialist knowledge and experience of business areas, products and systems to ensure effective and innovative technical solution design
Identify business impacts which allow stakeholders to make informed decisions and recommendations of priority for technology solutions
Work with our staff engineers and architecture function, to ensure your squads deliver the highest standards of technical design and implementation and that our platform is operationally excellent
The skills you'll need
You’ll need previous experience in business analysis roles working in an API led technology and proven application of business analysis tools and techniques. You’ll have excellent structured analytical skills with the ability to document complex and vast systems in a logical and understandable manner
You’ll also need:
Strong understanding of good practice in the API space across specifications, operations and design
Ability to write user stories for developers with clear and testable acceptance criteria
High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
Excellent stakeholder management skills working across the product and engineering organisation with a wide set of teams
Relevant experience in some of the following areas: Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Embedded Finance, Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS)
