Digital Design Engineer sought in Truro, Cornwall We are seeking a skilled and motivated Digital Design Engineer to join our renowned, specialised client as part of their South West Engineering team in Truro, Cornwall. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting senior engineers by producing detailed Revit and AutoCAD models and drawings for a variety of exciting M&E projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for BIM technology and a desire to contribute to innovative and impactful projects.    'MEP training strongly desired but architectural digital design experience is also of consideration'   Your new employer: Established 20 years’ ago, our client is a decorated Southwest focused Building Services consultancy within the Top 50 engineering consultancies in the UK. Sustainability and efficiency focused, strongly invested in staff development   Daily Duties of a Digital Design Engineer: Develop and maintain Revit / CAD models and drawings for various projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to produce high-quality construction documents Assist in the coordination of multidisciplinary models and manage clashes and interferences Implement and enforce BIM standards and protocols across projects Conduct regular quality checks to ensure consistency and accuracy in all deliverables Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in Revit and BIM technologies Provide technical support and training to team members as needed   What you’ll need to succeed as a Digital Design Engineer: Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is essential, AutoCAD experience also highly advantageous A minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a Revit Technician or in a similar role Strong understanding of BIM processes and standards Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively A degree or diploma in Engineering, or a related field is preferred Experience with other BIM software and tools (e.g., Navisworks, AutoCAD) is a plus In return, we are offering an exciting prospect for the right individual to join an existing team with this opportunity to progress within an excellent business as a Digital Design Engineer.
