Lead Mechanical Engineer

Lead Mechanical Engineer Stevenage, SG1 Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00 + Overtime Available Due to internal promotions we have an opportunity to work at a static facility in Stevenage as a Lead Mechanical Engineer. The business you will be working for are considered to be one of the biggest FM companies in the UK who also operate throughout the rest of Europe and into America. Initially started in 1994 they originally set up in the United States and have grown to become one of the most recognizable businesses in facilities management, construction, industrial and energy infrastructure across building services. The client on site are again a well known pharmaceutical healthcare business. You will be based on the static site in Stevenage. Originally the client was founded in India and has been the supplier and manufacturer of various medicines and vaccines we use in todays society. Job Responsibilities for a Lead Mechanical Engineer: * The Deputy Team Leader would be expected to be an Authorised Person in one or more disciplines to which suitable allowances will be paid. * Provide technical support for projects and assist with commissioning and hand over works for plant and user equipment. * Contractual compliance for your team relating to performance metric’s and SLA’s. * Ensure asset information is accurate and up to date. To make recommendations for changes where required and fully engage in the LCAM process. * To carry out engineering tasks related to planned and reactive work activities. * Effective communication with the users and the engineering department of progress to date and advise on any delays or risks to work scheduled in a prompt and professional manner. Qualifications/Experience for a Lead Mechanical Engineer: * C&G/NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineer or other * Previous FM experience (desirable but not essential) Benefits for a Lead Mechanical Engineer: * Salary - £45,000 * Company Pension contribution * 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays * Flexible benefits system including discounts scheme * On-site gymnasium and sports facilities available for personal use * Subsidized food from on-site canteen
