What's in it for you: Salary of £47,000 - £52,000 Life Assurance Healthcare Plan Pension Key Responsibilities: Lead the entire software development lifecycle, from defining requirements and coding to reviewing designs and testing on hardware. Create electrical schematics and detailed technical documentation, including BOMs, work instructions, and maintenance components. Provide customer support and troubleshoot technical issues as needed. Ensure product quality by designing electrical testing methods and validating system capabilities. Maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal quality management systems (ISO 9001). Contribute to the team's overall success by collaborating on tasks and supporting other engineering needs. Design and develop software for controlling hydraulic and electrical systems, with a focus on safety and quality. Engage in research and development projects to expand the product range and bring new innovations to market. Experience: HND or equivalent qualification in electronic/electrical engineering, or relevant experience. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software design and engineering. Proficiency in using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and EPLAN for schematic and software programming design. Strong understanding of electrical standards, regulations, and the ability to read and create detailed electrical drawings. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team. Experience drafting to electrical standards and a keen attention to detail.
