Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Nottingham NG1 1GF Perm Full Time £37,500 - £39,000 plus Over time, Plus Onsite Parking Available, Plus Call out Allowance ( 1 in 4 ) Summary NG Bailey Facilities Services are currently recruiting for Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a market-leading, forward-thinking company to be part of a team looking after a commercial contract based in the city centre of Nottingham at Bio City Provide Service Support as part of a team providing quality service delivery 24/7, with a requirement to be part of the out of hour’s emergency call out team Some of the key deliverables in this role will include: * Deliver PPM relating primarily to Mechanical Building Services Plant and System’s in-line with agreed programmes / SLA's in order to meet Client and Statutory Compliance. * Costing and completing Reactive Works identified through PPM work undertaken when requested. * To maintain premises to an exceptionally high standard * To ensure that all applicable site documentation is kept up to date as this will be regularly audited either by internal or external parties. * Assist with supervision of sub-contractor works ensuring compliance and adherence to applicable H&S standards when required * The position is Monday to Friday (Apply online only) - Onsite Parking Available – Call Out is 1 in 4 What we’re looking for: An experienced Mechanical Technician working to a high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) within a commercial occupied environment and with the utmost regard for customer service. You will hold current qualifications to include: * NVQ Level 2-3 (Mechanical Discipline e.g. Heating and Ventilating or City and Guilds * And be conversant with Mechanical Plant/Plumbing related Building Services PPM's carried out in-line with SFG20 and resulting Reactive Work. * Competent working knowledge of Air Handling Unit’s, Building Management Systems, Air Conditioning equipment, Cold Water systems, Heating and Ventilation systems, Water Treatment and Emergency Generators * IOSH Working / Managing Safely (Desirable) * Safe system of Work Procedure – PTW; RAMS etc (Desirable) * L8 Training (Desirable) Benefits: We're always evolving our benefits to ensure we're attracting and retaining great people.
