Data Engineer Snowflake / SQL / Python £60,000 - £65,000 Milton Keynes - 1 day per month This Data Engineering opportunity is to join a rapidly growing financial services organisation, who are going through a data transformation journey. This organisation is investing heavily in Data and taking it very seriously, the aim is to be a data-centric organisation. Additionally, they are not for profit therefore they are not about the bottom line they focus on reinvestment into the company and their employees. As the Data engineer, you will be joining a growing data team. Within this team, there will be experienced senior engineers for you to learn from and further develop your skills across data engineering. The company is in the process of moving into a cloud Snowflake environment and improving its front-end reporting to Power BI. You will be developing ETL pipelines, creating warehouses and data lakes, coding in various languages, and much more. Skills we are looking for: Strong working in a cloud environment (Ideally Snowflake, open to Azure, AWS, and GCP) SQL Python ETL pipeline developmentDesirable: Financial services/ Insurance experienceAs previously mentioned, they take data seriously, it is not the type of business that doesn't invest, Therefore you will be joining somewhere where data is put at the forefront of what they do and is a high business priority.
