Job role: Workshop Engineer (Trainee Accepted) Salary: £27,(Apply online only)-£30,(Apply online only) pa (OTE - £35,(Apply online only)) Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire Hours: 07.30-16.30 (40 hours) – Flexible start & finish   Job Type: Full Time, Permanent The Company: Interaction Technical have partnered with a bespoke access equipment manufacturer who specialise in creating bespoke metal balustrades and fixtures for the access industry. Due to growth the team are now looking to welcome a skilled workshop engineer or someone with previous engineering experience who is eager to learn all aspects on mechanical assembly. The Package: 30 days annual leave inclusive of public holidays Overtime rates 1.25x Midweek & 1.5x at weekends. Full training & development (if needed) on machining, TIG Welding, mechanical assembly and basic woodworking. Company pension Scheme Company sick pay Ongoing commitment to training and progression On-site parking The Role: Manufacture & Assemble bespoke Aluminium structures for an array of blue chip clients for the access industry TIG Weld, Assemble, Machining (Cutting, Drilling) & use hand tools Work to drawing specifications (Metric, CAD design) Participate in training and development The Requirements: Previous experience Welding (MIG or TIG), General Machining (Cutting, Drilling) would be advantageous Ability to read technical drawings would be advantageous Openness to learn & develop alongside a team Full UK Drivers License Previous use of handtools (drills, hammers etc) Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
