Mechanical Engineer

We are currently seeking a Permanent Mechanical Engineer for a reputable manufacturing company based in Dundee. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual with a strong mechanical background to join a dynamic team and contribute to cutting-edge projects in the field of automation. The environment is also a continuous learning workplace, learning from each build as it takes place Requirements: * Previous assembly experience in a machine manufacturing environment. * Building engineering assemblies and pneumatic systems. * Ability to understand technical drawings and parts list. * Routing and install machine wiring (with instructions from electrical engineer). * Debugging mechanical assemblies and overall machine operation. * Participate in internal machine trials and client FAT. * Undertake client machine installation, commissioning and training. * Good level of communication and problem solving. * Recognised engineering apprenticeship. * NC/HNC Engineering discipline * Experience of using machine tools such as lathes/milling/grinding Benefits: In return for your expertise, the successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and benefits package, along with the opportunity to work on innovative projects within a supportive and collaborative environment.
