Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer Location: Birmingham Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum Job Type: Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong emphasis on project management, design, and implementation. You will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative engineering solutions for various infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and development of civil engineering projects from concept through to completion. Prepare and review detailed designs and specifications, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Utilize Microdrainage and Civil 3D software for drainage design and civil engineering projects. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, planners, and contractors. Conduct site inspections and oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to designs and specifications. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians. Prepare project reports, feasibility studies, and technical documentation. Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively. Maintain strong client relationships and communicate project progress regularly. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, preferably within the UK. Proficiency in Microdrainage and Civil 3D software. Strong understanding of design standards, regulations, and best practices in civil engineering. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
