Multi-Skilled Engineer - Day shift

I am delighted to be supporting a client who are leading the way for innovation within the food production sector.  A private business who cares about their people, this company has worked hard on both their operational successes, but also their culture and people journey.  Initially a 6 month contract, there is a strong possibility of extension or permanent contract at the end of the assignment. This role will report to the Engineering Manager and undertake both planned and reactive maintenance under a multi-skilled capacity.  The business continues to invest in their factories so you will also work on projects and continuous improvement.  This is a day shift working pattern, 48 hours per week,  with overtime paid at double time. Key responsibilities -  Ensure all duties carried out in accordance to health and safety guidelines.  -  Continually look for improvements and make suggestions on best in class processes.  -  Fault finding and problem solving continually looking at ways to improve equipment. -  Installing new equipment as well as ongoing maintenance.  -  Various projects and ad-hoc tasks.  We are looking for candidates who have a proven track record across electrical and mechanical maintenance, ideally gained within a factory / manufacturing environment.
