Location: Hybrid with attendance to Client's offices in Scotland
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6-Months + Likely Extension
Rates: 650 Daily Rate Inside IR35 via Umbrella
Clearance: BPSS

Key Duties

  • Provide civil engineering support across multiple projects by creating outline designs during development phases
  • Including site/route selection, ground investigation specification, earthworks designs, public road upgrade, landscaping and access for proposed assets.
  • Define the scope of engineering design, as well as validate and verify the engineering design and construction and installation for assigned projects.
  • Develop scope of works and detailed specifications, supporting site teams to ensure the quality of installations.
  • Evaluate tenders and scope, procure, and manage specialist services


Essential requirements

  • Candidates must must hold a minimum of HND in civil engineering
  • Previous Transmission experience
  • 3+ years civil engineering experience, UK projects preferred
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate diligence and prioritise tasks
  • A thorough understanding of relevant legislation, including CDM and ESQCR, and the implications of this for Transmission network management.
