Electrician Job Details Reference Number Location Belfast Contract Type Full-Time Permanent Maintenance Electrician Reports to: Operations Manager, Services Division Department: Maintenance Site: All sites Purpose Responsible for undertaking electrical maintenance work in all areas of the business including Winemark stores, Wine Inns (bars and restaurants), Russells Food and Drink convenience stores, warehouses and offices. Responsibilities Responsible for undertaking some programmed maintenance (including P.A.T) covering all areas of the business as listed above. Responsible for day-to-day reactive fault finding and repairs or replacement of electrical equipment in line with health and safety requirements. Responsible for effectively managing maintenance and remedial works lists. Any other duties relevant and related to the post. Educational qualifications Qualified electrician (City and Guilds 2330 and 2356 or equivalent) Skills and Experience Plus a minimum of 3 years experience as an electrician is essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills as this post involves maintenance at a large number of outlets. The ability to organize and manage their own workload is necessary, with a positive and self motivated can do attitude. Experience with network cables (Cat 5, Cat 6) is highly desirable. Main Points of Contact internal and external Internal Direct line manager, I.T. Manager, Risk Manager, Managers in outlets, other members of the maintenance team. External Contractors and suppliers Other relevant information A full UK driving licence free from convictions is essential and transport will be provided. This is a full time, permanent position, with flexibility required for daytime, evening, weekend work and being on call. On call weekends will be required every 1 in 3 weekends. On call retainer is paid along with overtime rates for time worked. Use of a Company van will be provided during working hours and to and from the candidates place of work.
