About the Role
We’re searching for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the development, support, and enhancement of financial modelling solutions at the forefront of the industry. This role includes key R&D responsibilities in financial modelling tools, working closely with product and business stakeholders to deliver impactful, market-leading products.
What You’ll Bring
DevOps & Automation : 5+ years in DevOps, with expertise in CI/CD, containerized pipelines, version control, build systems, and test automation (e.g., Cypress).
Infrastructure-as-Code : Proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker to drive building and deploying processes.
Cloud Proficiency : Skilled in AWS for web service deployment, monitoring, and debugging.
Programming Skills : Strong capabilities in TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, and other languages that support DevOps functions.
Agile Mindset : A track record in Agile environments, with familiarity in Scrum and XP, plus experience managing project boards (like Jira) to maintain code quality.
Collaborative Nature : Confidence in working directly with product and business teams to understand and execute requirements.
It would be awesome if you had
Monorepo Architecture : Experience with tools like NX for efficient monorepo practices.
Build Systems Knowledge : Hands-on with Docker, Jenkins, and Kubernetes.
Testing Expertise : End-to-end, integration, and component testing for fullstack environments.
Fullstack Exposure : Familiarity with React, Node.js, Nest.js, MongoDB, and Redis is a plus.
Industry Insight : Experience in financial services is a bonus but not essential.
Qualifications
Most team members come from computing backgrounds, such as Computer Science or Software Engineering, though we value experience and technical ability above all.
