Our client is a leading trading firm, seeking an engineer with an extensive track record in financial services, to work on their US equities side of the business. The role will involve working closely with the trading systems, managing and optimising their performance, and supporting traders for the correct functioning of the systems.

Responsibilities:

• Be in charge of the direct trading environments (European hours and handover to America).
• Create tools to automate configuration management, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Perform troubleshooting tasks to ensure the correct functioning of the trading systems.
• Collaborate with developers to implement changes and features into the systems.

Requirements:

• 6-12 years of experience, mainly involving top-level Banks.
• Obligatory experience working on Equities, preferably US Equities.
• High scripting knowledge of Python and Shell, especially for automation purposes.
• Advanced Linux and FIX protocol.
• Ability to perform troubleshooting tasks.
