Area Lead Process Engineer

Area Lead Process Engineer (Client side)- Staff - London Location: London This is an excellent opportunity to join a Client organization operating in the cleantech, renewable and alternative energy sector, developing novel green energy and fuel solutions on a global scale with excellent career opportunities. Role & Responsibilities * Overseeing and co-ordinating deliverables of FEED contractor. * Ensuring design specifications of the main contractor and as per agreed company specifications and ensuring any amendments are incorporated in line with company / project requirements. * Manage and lead Client’s own team of Process Engineers. * Undertake work on client site as required, providing technical advice and operational support services. * Support the develop the scope of work / basis of design for studies and projects. * Checking the quality of FEED contractor/s design work to ensure compliance with agreed client design specifications. * Supporting the vendor management and selection process. * Perform safety related calculations and provide input to safety reviews – What If, Hazop SIL Assessment, etc. * Undertake short and long-term business travel in support of project. Key Skills & Knowledge * Must be Degree qualified. * Chartered status highly advantageous though not essential. * Experience in Oil & Gas projects during either conceptual engineering, FEED or detailed design. * Experience working in a Client organsiation / role is essential. * Experience in other major energy such as Energy from Waste or similar will also be highly advantageous. * Previous site experience in conjunction with a design background beneficial. * Planning and organising, communication, team working and problem solving. * Good level of numeracy, literacy and IT knowledge.
