AWS Cloud Engineer - Perm

Job Title: AWS Cloud Architect – DV Cleared Location: Are you a senior SC Cleared hands-on Engineer/ Architect with a strong background in delivering AWS cloud platforms in the public sector? Sentinel is working with a Top-Tier AWS Partner Consultancy, who delivers secure and scalable cloud infrastructure to a range of public sector clients. We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS cloud architecture, development, and deployment, with a proven ability to lead technical projects with minimal oversight. Design and implement robust cloud architectures on the AWS platform, leveraging best practices and industry standards. • Develop and deploy AWS infrastructure using tools such as CDK or Terraform. • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring successful delivery of cloud-based solutions. • Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline development and deployment processes using GitLab. • Work effectively in an Agile environment, contributing to a collaborative and productive team culture. Strong understanding of AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, and more. • Expertise in AWS development and deployment tools, such as CDK or Terraform. • Proven ability to lead technical projects with minimal supervision. • Experience working in an Agile or similar development methodology. • Security Clearance: DV (or SC with agreement for DV) is mandatory.
