Description The Role: As a Fabric Engineer, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and installation of various building fabric elements, with a specific focus on fire doors. Your expertise will help ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and enhance the overall safety of our campus facilities. Key Responsibilities: Inspect, repair, and maintain fire doors to ensure compliance with safety standards. Carry out general fabric maintenance and repair tasks across the campus. Work closely with the facilities management team to address maintenance requests and prioritise tasks. Conduct assessments to identify and resolve issues related to building fabric. Maintain accurate records of work performed and assist in developing maintenance schedules.Profile What We're Looking For: Proven experience in fabric engineering with a strong focus on fire door maintenance and installation. Knowledge of fire safety regulations and compliance standards. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
