Role overview
As a software integration engineer you will be a vital link in bridging cutting-edge third-party software and systems to our world class driver-in-the-loop simulators ensuring they operate cohesively.
What will you be doing?
- Maintaining the company philosophy of being able to modularly connect to any product based on our customers' requirements.
- Defining how systems interact in our customer projects. Each one is bespoke, and uses the latest technology.
- Tailoring connections between a number of software and hardware components used in an automotive context.
- This role has the possibility of travel to international customer installations to help maintain our systems.
What are we looking for?
- Capable of understanding the software requirements of real-time systems, such as Concurrent, National Instruments, dSPACE, and being able to integrate them in an efficient manner.
- Ability to work with complex systems, for example HIL or simulation software, to high standards in a methodical and repeatable manner.
- Experience in using MATLAB/Simulink for systems integration.
- A fast and critical thinker, motivated by finding solutions to problems.
- Excellent attention to detail.
