Electrical Design Engineer / Building Services / Construction / MEP / Intermediate Electrical Engineer

This electrical design role is to join a small engineering consultancy and work alongside the MD offering you exposure to all facets of building services design you will receive plenty of mentoring and support and will have responsibility for your own workload.

Most of the work will be MEP / building services design for high end residential, education and some commercial work.

Responsibilities Electrical Design Engineer

• Electrical design, including calculations, preparation of drawings and specifications
• Designing site-specific equipment as required
• Overseeing and supervising the installation of building systems and specifying maintenance and operating procedures
• Liaising closely with other professionals, including structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors
• Advising clients and architects on energy use and conservation in a range of buildings and sites, aiming to minimise the environmental impact and reduce the carbon footprint

Experience Required

• Preferably a relevant degree, electrical or building services related.
• Previous work within an electrical building services design role, with either a consultancy or contractor.
• Hold a full UK driving license.
