Maintenance Engineer

This food manufacturing business has seen significant growth in the last three years and is now entering its new phase of development! We are looking for multi skilled engineers with either a mechanical or electrical bias to join a fast growing business in Kettering.

With a mix of automated and manual machinery there s a great range of equipment to keep you busy! You will be responding to breakdowns to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum, manage the planned maintenance schedule on everything from packaging machinery, conveyors, scales and palletizers.

The role as a Maintenance Engineer

• Predominately providing reactive and proactive maintenance service to plant machinery.
• Working with manufacturing staff to improve the process.
• Providing effective handovers
• Be able to make decisions and escalate when required.
• Working on new projects
• Maintaining fillers, conveyors, mixers and packaging machinery.

Skills and Qualifications required in this Maintenance Engineers role:

• Minimum of a level 3 engineering qualification.
• Experience within food manufacturing or FMCG is preferable.
• Able to fault find electrically.
• Collaborative work ethic.
