Field Service Engineer Benefits – Free On-Site Parking, Accessible Via Public Transport, Cooking Facilities, Supportive Team, Excellent Working Environment Title – Field Service Engineer Hours – 8am-5pm Mon-Thurs & 8am-4.30pm Fridays Salary - £18-£23ph Location – Barnsley Role – Permanent This is an exciting opportunity for the successful Field Service Engineer to work for an engineering supplier who have been established over 50 years and have gained themselves a reputation for excellence within that time, due to a steady increase in orders and machines thereof they are now looking to recruit and bolster out their field service teams where duties will include: * Reporting to the Service Manager * Maintenance and refurbishment of wheel & track Loaders * Maintenance and repair work on excavators, shredders and screens * Travelling to and working from a customer site, servicing and problem solving on heavy plant equipment * Liaising with service team and technical support to solve problems and order parts etc. * Completion and submissions of reports * Working from hydraulic and electrical schematics * Working with autonomy It is expected that the successful Field Service Engineer will have experience of working in a field service or electrical maintenance role previously and: * Be competent in working with hand tools, including electrical grinders and electric drills * Understand hydraulic and electrical schematics * Have a good understanding of in engine aftertreatment systems, SCR, DPF and electrical circuits * Be apprentice trained, NVQ level 3 plant maintenance or equivalent * Hold a full UK licence, * Hold Quarry passport & passport to safety Field Service Engineer Benefits – Free On-Site Parking, Accessible Via Public Transport, Cooking Facilities, Supportive Team, Excellent Working Environment Title – Field Service Engineer Hours – 8am-5pm Mon-Thurs & 8am-4.30pm Fridays Salary - £18-£23ph Location – Barnsley Role – Permanent Major Recruitment act as an Employment Agency for permanent roles and Employment Business for temporary opportunities
