Due to continued growth, an experienced Domestic Heating Engineer is needed to join our team at the McInnes Group on a full-time basis, covering Livingston and the surrounding area. McInnes Group Ltd is an award-winning heating, renewable energy, and electrical company. We are currently also hiring Heating Engineers across West Lothian, Stirling, or Fife.
We are always looking to develop and drive further learning and growth throughout our diverse product and service offerings, with a focus on energy savings and renewable technology.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, positive, and willing to go the extra mile to take responsibility. You must be able to work as part of a team with other heating engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Domestic & small commercial Heating & Renewable technology installations; consisting mostly of Air Source heating installations
- Engage with clients & Subcontractors where necessary to ensure successful delivery of projects
- Participate in learning and development (including training) to achieve relevant knowledge, skills and understanding
- Work on a day to day basis in line with the company's core values
- Work Safely at all times
- Pass on experience & skills to apprentices / younger members of the team
- Other duties reasonably requested by Managers/Directors
Required Experience:
- Recognised Qualification SVQ, NVQ, City & guilds or equivalent in Plumbing
- In date CSCS grade card
- Clean DBS certificate
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience with domestic installation & maintenance
- Pro-active team player who is self motivated
- Excellent communication skills, both oral & written
- Ability to work both independently & within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to work to deadlines. Flexible approach to work with an ability to prioritise & manage your time effectively
- A strong interest in renewable energy
Desirable Experience:
- Air source Heat pump installations
- Gas Boiler installations & decommissioning
- Oil & Gas
- Assisting with Solar PV panel installation
- SSSTS certified
- Tetra working at heights
