Lead Infrastructure Engineer

Experienced AWS Infrastructure Engineer, UK wide/London, Hybrid/Remote, £120,000

We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and contribute to the next phase of our growth. Our cloud-based platform is built entirely on AWS, and with exciting projects ahead, you’ll play a key role in shaping our future!

Skills & Experience:

• Expertise in AWS (EKS, MSK, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, Aurora, ECS Fargate, Lambda, IAM, KMS)
• Strong security focus & AWS certification preferred
• Experience with EKS & Kafka (MSK) in production
• Familiarity with SaaS multi-tenant/single-tenant setups
• Automation using Terraform
• Knowledge of observability tools (Datadog) & networking
• Coding experience (functional languages a plus)
• Fintech experience is a bonus but not required

Responsibilities:

• Ensure platform reliability, availability, security, and scalability
• Deploy, automate, and manage AWS cloud systems
• Troubleshoot systems and resolve issues across platforms
• Maintain top-tier system security
• Collaborate with developers on infrastructure architecture
• Provision single-tenant infrastructure & custom integrations
• Streamline SaaS practices (reporting, billing, etc.)
• Implement DevOps practices
• Provide occasional out-of-hours support
