CNC LATHE / TURNER

Job Description * Setting and Operating CNC Star Sliding Head Lathes. * Working to tight tolerances * Producing high precision sub contract components in batches from 10 to 1000 off. * Setting and Operating using Fanuc Controls * Producing parts from various general engineering and exotic materials * Operating and setting parts in various sizes of material from 2mm - 40mm. * Understanding tooling and high-pressure machining. Skills Required * Setting and Operating CNC Fixed or Sliding head Lathes experience * (The ability to program is advantageous but not essential) * Previous experience working within a high precision manufacturing environment. * The ability to read and Interpret engineering drawings and tolerances. * First time right approach with a high level of attention to detail * Understanding and use of measuring equipment to drawing spec. * Must be Self-motivated, dedicated and able to work under own initiative. * Training will be provided for the correct candidate. Package on offer * 25 days paid holiday a year plus all bank holidays * Day shift Mon to Thursday 07:00 - 15:30 and Fridays 07:00 - 13:00. (37.5 working week) * Early finish on Fridays * Company Bonus scheme paid quarterly on completion of targets.
