Electrical Maintenance Technician
To £50K basic + Overtime
2 - Shift; Earlies /Lates
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician (Electrical bias) to join the engineering team at a successful, print and packaging manufacturing company in Blackpool.
Reporting into the Engineering Director you will join a small team of Maintenance Technicians, ensuring all machines are effectively maintained and optimised to support production.
Key Tasks:
Provide hands on electrical and mechanical maintenance support on a range of printing and packaging equipment
Electrical fault finding, diagnostics and repair
PPMs, breakdown maintenance and Route Cause Analysis (RCA)
Work closely with production to ensure plant meets all KPI's
Identify improvement opportunities and support development of systems to help move the department forward
Contribute to Capex projects - equipment installations/automation upgrades
Ensure all H&S procedures are adhered to
Key requirements:
Time served Electrical/Multi-Skilled Engineer (C&G/NVQ 3/HNC/HND)
Min of 5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of electrical systems and software; PLC's, Control Systems, HMI
Improvement mind-set
Excellent communication skills
