Fire & Security Service Engineer

Job: Fire & Security Service Engineer Location: Portsmouth and Surrounding areas Salary/Rate: £34,000 - £38,000/annum Additional Earnings available We are working with a highly reputable National Fire & Security company in Portsmouth and the surrounding area that is expanding due to continued growth. We are currently looking for multiple experienced mobile fire and security engineers to join the team! Key Responsibilities: * Service, install, maintain and repair fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems. * Conduct regular inspections and testing of fire and security systems to ensure compliance with regulations. * Provide technical support and training to clients on fire and security systems. * Collaborate with clients to assess their fire and security needs and recommend appropriate solutions. * Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations Key Requirements: * Experience with install, service and repair of fire and security systems, CCTV, intruder alarms, and similar equipment. * Must hold relevant electrical qualifications. * Relevant qualifications in fire and security engineering or a related field. * Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Must be flexible in working on the out of hours rota * To install service, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems. * Conduct regular inspections and testing of fire and security systems to ensure compliance with regulations. * Provide technical support and training to clients on fire and security systems. * Collaborate with clients to assess their fire and security needs and recommend appropriate solutions. * Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations What’s on Offer: * Salary: £34,000 to £38,000 (depending on experience) * Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 am - 5:00 pm * Overtime: Time and a half/double time rates * Holidays: 25 days * Vehicle: Company car or van plus fuel card Smart Search Technical is a specialist recruitment company operating in technical engineering sectors across the UK & beyond.
