We're Sugar Wallet, today we're an app that helps you turn your savings into 24k Gold, automatically, from $1 across multiple geographies.
Our next product is becoming the world's first AI ‘found money’ platform. Imagine optimising all areas of money inflow and outflow in someone's life, from insurance to taxes, to dog food to travel, etc.
If you ship fast, are full-stack, keep up and tinker with AI and want to solve a real problem that affects billions of people, then this is for you.
What you’ll do:
- Responsible for all major architecture decisions, and building the full-stack product 0-1 (particularly on our new AI product)
What we’re looking for:
- 4-7 years of experience as an individual contributor with a modern programming language (Python, JS, Go, Django, etc)
- 2+ years of experience as an individual contributor with modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue, etc)
- Experience with machine learning/NLP
- Experience in designing and implementing robust data pipelines and workflow automation
- Have a strong demonstrated ability to ship high-quality products, both at work and outside of work. We love engineers that build side-projects or contribute to open-source repos
Nice to haves:
- Previous founding or startup experience
- Experience working at a fintech company or on a financial product related team.
- Experience with building integrations
- Experience with retrieval infrastructure.
Technology:
Currently we’re looking at rebuilding our app/platform from ground up, so expect to be involved in Architecting a new build - but our current technology stack is: React JS, Django, PostgreSQL, AWS ECS
Compensation:
Aggressive Equity + a market salary.
