Lead UX / UI Designer, UX/UI, Figma, NW London to £75,000 An established Financial Software company are seeking a talented and experienced Lead UX/UI Designer to join our team. As a UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience. Your primary focus will be on understanding user needs, conducting user research, and translating findings into wireframes, prototypes, and design concepts. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality design solutions. Responsibilities: * Design intuitive, user-centred interfaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional * Ensure design is consistent across all platforms and adheres to brand guidelines * Work closely with product managers, developers and other team members to understand project goals and constraints * Document design processes, research findings and decisions * Present the design to stakeholders * Create user guides or design documentation to support developers and stakeholders during the implementation phase * Adhere to style standards on typography and graphic design What you will need: * 4+ years of experience in UX design * A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms * Proficiency in creating wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD. * Basic knowledge of UI design principles (layout, color theory, typography). * Ability to design intuitive user interactions and experiences. * Ability to design reusable components in Figma * Ability to clearly communicate design ideas, processes, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to solve user problems creatively and effectively. * Collaboration: Ability to work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders. * Adaptability: Willingness to iterate and adapt designs based on feedback and changing requirements. * Degree: A degree in UX design, human-computer interaction, psychology, graphic design, or a related field. However, practical experience and a strong portfolio can outweigh formal education
