CNC Machinist

Offering a PAYE contract initially until December 2025 with further extensions likely. Hours: 7:30 am to 4:15 pm (Monday to Thursday) and 7:30 am to 11:30 am (Fridays) PAYE Pay: Ranging from £15.76-£16.77p/h depending on experience and up to 33 days paid annual leave. Overtime is paid at x1.5, with Sundays offering double time. Rates are also due to increase inline with annual increases. Desired Skills and Experience: Training or Experience: Apprenticeship or equivalent training is ideal, but we'll consider hands-on experience in lieu of formal qualifications. CNC Expertise: Proven ability in CNC operations, with preference given to CNC Turners. Sector Experience: Aerospace or other regulated industry experience is a plus but not required. Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and recording results using SPC data collection. Measurement Tools Knowledge: Experience with Vernier calipers, micrometers, plug gauges, and screw plug gauges.We operate a wide variety of equipment, including Mori Seiki, Fanuc Robodrill, Matsuura, CNC Lathes, Mill Turns, Conquest HT42, and Alpha machinery.
