Our client, a leading manufacturer of electrical products, is offering a genuinely entry level position for a motivated and detail-oriented person to join their team. Working across the full scope of engineering activities, your role will include: Key Responsibilities: Participate in the improvement and development of existing products Produce production assembly drawings and guides Update and release drawings through the application of change management processes Collaborate with key suppliers, Technical, QC, and production teams Manage document and software control Produce 3D and 2D CAD Generate BOMs using assembly data Manage own workload to meet critical project objectives Participate in design reviews Skills and Experience sought: Previous use of a 2D & 3D CAD Packages (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Siemens NX or similar) Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team Organized approach to documentation and keen attention to detail Enthusiasm and commitment to achieving objectives Solution-focused approach and dedication to managing tasks to conclusion Willingness to learn and develop new skills Degree or relevant qualifications in Engineering or manufacturing based subjects (e.g., HNC, HND, A Levels, T Levels) The successful candidate will have the opportunity to receive training and grow within the business, while actively contributing to the production and manufacturing processes of high-quality electrical products
