What You'll Be Doing: Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of mechanical design engineers, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Project Management: Oversee multiple projects, with a strong emphasis on automation and robotics, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Design Excellence: Drive innovation in mechanical design, particularly in automation and robotics, utilizing the latest technologies and best practices. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless project integration and delivery. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, particularly in automation and robotics. What They're Looking For: Experience: Proven experience in a mechanical design leadership role, with a strong track record of successful project delivery, especially in automation and robotics. Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of mechanical design principles, tools, and software, with a specific focus on automation and robotics. Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a knack for motivating and developing talent. Problem-Solver: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically, particularly in the realm of automation and robotics. Excellent Communicator: Superb communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with team members, stakeholders, and clients. Qualifications: Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Experience: Several years of experience in mechanical design, with at least a few years in a leadership role focused on automation and robotics. Software Proficiency: Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools.
