Job Advertisement: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Ebbw Vale, UK Salary: £40,500 - £43,260 per annum (dependent on experience) Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (Days and Nights) Job Overview: We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our food manufacturing team in Ebbw Vale. This role involves carrying out both electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks, including Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and attending to machinery breakdowns, ensuring minimal disruption to production. Key Responsibilities: * PPM & Reactive Maintenance: Perform scheduled PPMs and attend breakdowns to maintain equipment and minimize downtime. * Electrical & Mechanical Work: Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues across various production machinery. * Troubleshooting: Use fault-finding skills to diagnose issues and ensure timely repairs to ensure smooth production. * Continuous Improvement: Contribute to machinery reliability and efficiency improvements in a fast-paced environment. * Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance work complies with health and safety standards. Qualifications and Experience: * Engineering Qualification: A recognized qualification in engineering (electrical, mechanical, or multi-skilled). * Experience: Previous experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance, ideally within a food manufacturing environment. * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
