Electrical Maintenance Engineer The Role * Electrical Maintenance Engineer you’re working on a government building. * As a Electrical Maintenance Engineer you’ll be carrying out planned preventative maintenance to building services equipment * Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be carrying out reactive and emergency breakdown tasks allocated * Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be carrying out inspections, fault finding and diagnosis * Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with agreed service levels * Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be completing job sheets electronically on a Tablet or Smartphone * Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be maintaining site-based records and log books * Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be carrying out general cleaning and housekeeping to maximise life expectancy of all equipment * Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be proactively working to reduce energy consumption on client sites and recommending improvements * Working to all health, safety, compliance and local policies and procedures * Maintaining excellent relationships with our customers – face to face, telephone and email Hours of Work * Monday to Friday, 7.30am – 4.30pm, 40 hours per week Benefits * Additional earnings available through overtime is available. * 23 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, plus option to purchase an additional 5 days leave every year * Pension with matched contributions between 6-8% * Life Assurance * Private Medical Insurance Single Cover on completion of 12 month' service, with the opportunity to pay for additional cover for partner/dependants * Flexible Benefits Scheme – including eye care voucher, store discounts for major retailers, salary sacrifice electric car vehicle lease scheme, personal IT equipment loans, impartial financial/savings guidance * Access to wellbeing programmes * Company Sick Pay * Smartphone/ Tablet, uniform, PPE Career Progression Route * From this role you could progress into a supervisor position. Qualifications and Experience Required * City & Guilds Electrical or Equivalent * 18th Edition * Commercial building maintenance experience in a customer facing environment
