Office/ Engineer Support Coordinator

At Hue, our client is looking for an Office/ Engineer Support Coordinator to join their family run business of over 30 years based in Welwyn Garden City. They specialise in the maintenance and repair of bespoke commercial equipment. * You will be responsible for receiving and managing breakdown calls, allocating engineers to those calls, and arranging the diary for a team of 5 engineers. * Handling customer queries regarding breakdowns, preventive maintenance, and service agreement renewals. * Managing the schedule of a team of engineers and handling emergency calls from customers. * Providing accurate quotations for repairing our clients' portfolio of products. * Creating cases and work orders for repair and maintenance, and assigning jobs to service engineers. * Proactively communicating with customers, field engineers, and field sales, providing clear and concise information about the status of the inquiry. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following: * Being a fast learner with a great memory * Having a technical focus * Being a team player with exceptional customer service qualities * Having a good understanding of figures and numeracy, and being highly proficient in MS Office and Microsoft * Being an effective communicator with customers and engineers alike * Possessing good time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask to manage workload.
