MECHANICAL FITTERS REQUIRED - IMMEDIATE START - COMPETITIVE SALARY - BURY ST EDMUNDS, SUFFOLK A well-established workshop on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join their team. You'll work within a small, diverse department where you'll have the opportunity to develop new skills and tackle daily challenges. We're looking for candidates with experience in assembly and fitting, ideally within a manufacturing setting. MIG welding experience is a plus. Please note, own transport is required due to the site location Mechanical Fitter Duties: Fabricate and install parts for heavy goods vehicles Use hand and power tools effectively Weld joints and sections securely Perform heavy lifting and stand throughout the day Maintain a clean and organised workspace Pay & Hours: Flexible working hours between 7am and 5pm Monday to Friday, 40-hour working week £15+ p/hour, depending on experience The ideal candidate is someone who values productivity, manages time well, and excels in a hands-on work environment.
