Job Requirements / Description
My Purpose
The integration team is responsible for the development, monitoring and support of both internal and external system to system interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing interfaces using Seeburger or other technologies to deliver against integration requirements for the forthcoming projects / changes across Pilgrims UK and European business
- Working with internal and external partners to establish connectivity to allow for end-to-end integration to take place
- Working with internal / external parties to support test cases for interface testing
- Monitoring and resolving daily interface issues as they arise as per the weekly support rota
- Working alongside the senior engineers to apply standards and practices where applicable
- Collaborating with the support-teams around production incidents involving integration to directly or indirectly ensure their timely resolution and recovery and preventative measures are taken to avoid recurrence.
- Developing a strong team, skills and culture around integration that crosses the development, support, infrastructure and data teams
- Any other tasks as reasonably required.
Essential Skills
- Third level qualification in an IT related discipline, or a Minimum 1 years experience using the Seeburger integration platform or similar such as Dell Boomi, Jitterbit
- Experience of using Idocs for integration to and from SAP ECC6/S4
- Experience using varying types of documents i.e. XML / CSV / JSON / EDIFACT / IDocs
- Experienced in design approaches to systems integration, software development, message-based middleware
- Experienced in the configuration of system to system integration using different end points for communication such as FTP / SFTP / SQL / REST / AS2
- Experienced in support business operations that depend on systems integration in and out of normal working hours
- Experience in the use of T-SQL, i.e. Stored procedure, views, functions
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong team working skills.
