Geotechnical Engineer / Engineering Geologist – West Sussex Approach Personnel are proud to be with a growing and successful geotechnical and geoenvironmental consultancy to find a Geotechnical Engineer / Engineering Geologist to join their West Sussex based team. On offer is the chance for a Geotechnical Engineer / Engineering Geologist to join a strong team working on projects ranging from small residential sites to larger, multi million pound commercial, industrial and residential contracts. The Role Carrying out Phase 1 Desk Studies and Walkover Surveys Carrying out Phase 2+ Instrusive Investigations, Risk Assessments, Report Writing Conduction site visits to assess scope of works and gain understanding of needs Helping to manage the sampling and testing process, directing the collectuion, receipt, logging, storage, testing and disposal Working alongside the commercial team to determine cost estimate for clients and to manage project budgets Determining project feasibility based on collected information The Person A degree at Bachelors level or higher in either Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science or similar At least 2 years working in  a similar role with either an engineering consultancy or site investigation based company Full UK Driving License Right to Work in the UK Driven attitude with a desire to learn and progress The Package Competitive Salary Holiday Entitlement Generous Company Pension Perks Company Profit Share Bonus Company Vehicle after Qualifying Period Flexible Working Life Assurance Professional Membership Fee Funding Company funded and run CPD Please note: this position does not provide Visa Sponsorship, so you will need to have Right to Work in the UK.
