DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer, you will support multiple enterprise multi-tenant cloud applications distributed throughout the world in a multi-AZ AWS environment. You’ll be part of a cross functional team, and be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet our customers' needs. You’ll benefit from short sprints and a consistent work pace. And you’ll be driving innovation across some of our fastest growing product lines. Required Experience Professional experience as a Software Engineer Professional experience as a Devops Engineer. Experience working with Linux systems (Debian/Ubuntu preferred) AWS Experience High level of understanding in cloud networking - including transitive routing, site-to-site network establishment, segmented account networking, etc. Comfortable with operating from the Linux command line interface Python (most preferred)/BASH and/or other scripting languages. Familiarity with deployment/management tools (Jenkins, AWS SSM, Rundeck, etc). Problem solving attitude. Collaborative team spirit. Ability to write efficient scripts to automate repetitive tasks. Ability to dig in and get hands on to provide “quick win” performance improvements. Ability to work outside of traditional working hours as needed by the business. Preferred Experience Comfortable with Windows DSC Familiarity with NoSQL, especially DynamoDB and/or Redis. Experience with serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateways, Cloudfront, etc) and containerization Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, and CloudFormation. Responsibilities Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats Deploy updates and fixes Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems Perform root cause analysis for production errors Investigate and resolve technical issues Develop scripts to automate visualization and other tasks Rewards An actual fun working environment.
