Security & Fire Engineer (Service & Installation)

GBR Recruitment are working in exclusive partnership with a well established & progressive Security & Fire Systems installation & service business, recruiting for x2 experienced Security & Fire Engineers to fit Security Alarms, Access Controls & CCTV, into an array of Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, Education, Housing & other types of properties across (Lincoln, Newark, Peterborough, Boston, Spalding, Sleaford & areas close to these). This is a great opportunity to join a BAFE & ISO accredited security business who offer real L&D opportunities for those time served experienced Fire & Security Engineers seeking further development in their careers. You will provide extensive engineering support to an array of diverse installation projects along with back up maintenance support, to a wide scope of organisations & businesses. The clients pays all Engineers door to door, so the moment you leave your home you are being paid. The client also offers a large amount of overtime paid at enhanced rates if you want to earn more. Security & Fire Engineer Duties: * Service & Install Security Alarms, Fire Alarms, CCTV & Access control systems / solutions across the Midlands / East Midlands area of the UK. * Provide technical support to customers & fault find any problems. * Deliver exceptionally strong customer service, in line with the end using customers expectations * Influence & support customers in making security / fire protection product choices for their sites, ensuring the products they choose will meet their needs. * Working to set targets & set install timescales * 1st time right approach, on all Security & Fire systems works carried out * Working on your own & in small teams (varies due to scope of works) Experience, Skills & Qualifications: * Experienced in a Security & Fire Service Engineer role * Used to installing / servicing Advanced Security Systems. * Engineering, Electrical, Electronic or Security related Qualifications * Used to advising businesses on Security & fire protection systems. * Security CCTV camera products installation / servicing, access control & Alarm systems installation & servicing / maintenance experience * Full UK Driving license (van provided). * Able to complete a DBS check Employee Benefits include: * Fully expensed Company Van & Tools, plus Fuel Card. * Paid from door to door (home to client's site / place of work). * Overtime paid at x1.5 rate after 39 hours.
