DevOps Engineer with Python

As a DevOps Engineer, you will support multiple enterprise multi-tenant cloud applications distributed throughout the world in a multi-AZ AWS environment. Professional experience as a Software Engineer Professional experience as a Devops Engineer. Experience working with Linux systems (Debian/Ubuntu preferred) AWS Experience High level of understanding in cloud networking - including transitive routing, site-to-site network establishment, segmented account networking, etc. Comfortable with operating from the Linux command line interface Python (most preferred)/BASH and/or other scripting languages. Familiarity with deployment/management tools (Jenkins, AWS SSM, Rundeck, etc). Ability to dig in and get hands on to provide “quick win” performance improvements. Comfortable with Windows DSC Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems Perform root cause analysis for production errors Continue learning through conference attendance, courses, and cross-training.
