Field Service Engineer Cumbernauld Permanent £40k - £45k Monday to Friday 45 hours pw Days Questech Automotive Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a major Vehicle Manufacturer in the UK who are recruiting for an experienced Field Service Engineer on a permanent basis. This is a permanent full time vacancy and Monday to Friday on a day shift. We are looking for Engineers/Technicians/mechanics from a Commercial, HGV, PSV or LGV background who are looking for a field-based role. You will be an apprentice trained, fully qualified Technician that has experience working with a variety of LGV or HGV vehicles. You will be paid door to door and will be paid at an enhanced rate for any hours over the 45 hours. A company van will be supplied. ROLE * Electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installation * MOT preparation, chassis and body repairs, fault diagnosis * Completion of paperwork and adhering to compliance * Maintain Health and Safety Skills & Experience * Level 3 in Heavy Goods Vehicle maintenance & repair or an equivalent qualification * Strong customer service skills * Good attention to detail * Ability to work autonomously * Ability to work within given time frames * Ability to tackle all aspects of vehicle repair and servicing. * Diagnostics skills Questech Recruitment is a specialist engineering support within the road transport industry, our focus is to support many clients within the truck and bus sectors across the UK.
