Job Title : Exterior Systems CAD Design Engineer Location :Warwick (Hybrid) Contract: 6 months Outside IR35 *Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK and travel within the EU.* Job Description As Exterior CAD design Engineer your main responsibilities are: 5+ years of Automotive Design experience in Exterior systems within Bumpers, Grilles, Fenders, Exterior Trim, Spoilers, Lighting Experience using CATIA V5 Plastic injection moulded parts experience. Knowledge of Exterior methodologies and general requirements (Industry best practice and legislation) Experience in working to requirements and design rules and iterating following CAE / virtual test analysis and feedback. Releasing experience. Experience liaising with suppliers and incorporating DFM and Moldflow feedback. Nice to have: High end SUV experience BEV / EV experience Ideally has worked in several Exterior commodities (e.g. Bumpers and Spoilers) Start-up experience. Why work through Contechs?
