For our NVH & Durability team in UK , we are looking for an NVH CAE Engineer (Airborne Noise) (m/f/x) Role Overview: In this role you will develop current and future vehicle programs and methodologies in Airborne Noise CAE, performing SEA model build, analysis, development and correlation activities. You will work on several aspects of the car at component, system and vehicle level, with the goal of optimizing performance and efficiency and improving the interior quietness user experience. Main Responsibilities: Build, assemble and analyze complete vehicle and system level SEA models for airborne noise simulation and optimization. Present SEA results and contribute with recommended solutions to achieve airborne noise requirements in challenging spaces with mass efficiency and follow the design release verification. Correlate SEA results to bench test data on prototype and production vehicles and subsystems. Maintain and develop procedures for performing various SEA. Provide support to other NVH CAE areas where required. Basic Qualifications, skills and experience required: M.Sc. or higher education in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Experience using VA One Software. Proficient in geometry preparation and meshing, using such tools as ANSA & Hypermesh. Extensive and demonstrable experience in the field of acoustics, noise and vibration analysis. Experience and expertise of SEA in the Automotive sector, ideally at an established OEM or Tier 1 supplier. Experience and expertise of FE and coupled FE/SEA problems are preferred. Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Demonstrates high level of personal motivation to join a start-up mindset organization and sees development opportunity in doing so, takes a proactive approach to self-development.
